REACH YOUR GOALS!!

WHAT IS YOUR GOAL?

Identify your goal, be precise and specific.
Once you identify what is your goal you can set a plan that will help
 you achieve your goal.
People tend to be very general when setting their goals. For example they will say…I want to "lose weight", "get into shape", improve my health, but what does this really mean? For me this can mean lose 5 pounds whereas for others, it means lose 20 pounds.
People that have general goals most likely won’t achieve them; they can become unrealistic and be misleading.  However, if you define your goal you can build a plan and measure the results.

 WHAT IS YOUR REASON?

To know the reason why you want to make a change and reach your goal is a critical question you need to answer before you start any commitment. Once you know the reason you’ll have the motivation to stick to it. It does not matter what your reason is, either it is to look good or improve your health…. All of them are important and you need to remember that.
Do not try to convince anyone else about it, if you find it important then it is!!

YOUR GOALS MUST BE SPECIFIC AND WITH A MEANING BEHIND.

WHY USE BABY STEPS?

Once you identify what is your goal, then you can design a plan. To have things written will allow you to remember them and stick to them. Remember to write your main goal on top, then
Start breaking it into a list by defining short term goals. Short term goals will be actions you need to do in order to achieve your main goal. It is what I call baby steps. Once you start achieving these little goals you will build your confidence and little by little you will reach what you want to achieve.

WHY MY GOAL HAS TO BE REALISTIC?

People that set goals need to be patient and realistic.  Setting unrealistic goals such as training for 3 hours 7 times a week is not a good idea when you start. If you want to reach a goal related to fitness
for example, you need to be realistic. It is proven that when people want to change habits or get into one, having to many things to change at a time just leads them to failure.
Therefore, to focus on one short term goal while using the baby steps technique and incorporating one habit at a time will help you reach your goal.

WHY KEEP TRACK OF YOUR PROCESS?

It is really important to keep track of your results. I will strongly recommend having a journal, this is a way for you to keep track of what you are doing and review it. This journal will help you analyze, where you are, who well you are doing, and how do you feel about it.

 FEEL PROUD OF YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS
