Fitness is something that everyone needs. Often its neglected because it requires work. Fitness is not something that is temporary, it is a change of life, a lifestyle. Sounds Hard huh? Well actually its not.
I'm not saying go to the extreme and work out 5 hours in the gym and eat nothing but green food. I'm saying, eat right, work out daily....for 30 mins - 1 hour and you are done. Why not? you go to work daily for 8-12 hrs...I'm sure you can fit it in some where after. Lets do this...hear my story..
2 years ago, I wanted to get into the police force. I passed the written test, but then I remembered that I will need to do a physical at some point. Well, I had the mindset that I didnt just want to pass the physical, I wanted to ace! the physical. In the state I was in, playing videos games for extended periods of time, eating junkfood, man, there was no way I would be able to ace it in the state I was in.
I was 220 lbs, 5'9, low self-esteem, I need to get myself together here. I Started running a nearby track every night and changed my complete diet to vegetables and brown rice/bread etc. Skim Milk and you know, low fat stuff (Please do not follow what I ate, consult your doctor :))
I found a workout program called P90X (Thanks to Beachbody and Tony Horton!). 90 days of pure fitness, I saw all these results on the TV and I wanted it too!
So I started...90 days of Lean routine. First work out was a disaster! I was ready to quit. I continued and finally I completed 90 days. I finished at 160 lbs (lost 20 lbs from running each night), lots of muscle definition and feeling great!!
I got great results, changed my entire life. I got my personal training certification because i wanted to help change peoples' lives make them feel the same joy I did!
It is a hard commitment, but next to your loving gf/wife, it will be the best commitment you will ever have!
Note: you take care of your body, it will take care of you.
